The Dog Stop® Cumming-Midway is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager/Customer Care Manager with extensive retail and customer service experience to join the team at our brand-new doggie-day care and boarding facility! Knowledge of the dog care industry is a strong plus but not required provided the candidate is capable of quickly learning the ins and outs of our services and our complete product line. We do require a positive attitude, outgoing personality, dedication to providing an unparalleled experience for our clientele, and, of course, a love of dogs.
Assistant Manager responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Meeting Sales Goals
- Merchandising Products
- Inventory Tracking
- Product Research
- Developing Customer Relationships
- Client Tours
- Management of Client Database and Corresponding Filing
- Staffing: Teambuilding, Management and Accountability
- Social Media Content Creation and Management
Customer Care Manager responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Gain a thorough understanding of all services provided at The Dog Stop.
- Clearly articulate and communicate the advantages of our services to potential clients.
- Promote and sell dog care services and memberships to new clients.
- Develop and execute effective social media strategies for the location(s).
- Manage and optimize marketing and advertising budgets to ensure effective outreach.
- Design, implement, and monitor guerrilla marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate the referral program to drive new client acquisitions.
- Convert leads into in-person interview at the location(s).
- Turn successful interview interactions into membership sales or service bookings.
- Conduct store tour to introduce prospective pet parents to all of our services during interview
- Serve as the point of contact between potential clients and the location(s), managing ongoing communication.
- Meet and exceed agreed-upon sales targets and timelines.
- Evaluate market trends and opportunities, track sales progress, and provide regular status updates.
Necessary Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience in retail & customer service, preferably 1 yr supervisory role
- 3 professional references
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Basic marketing skills to support TDS’s traditional and social media platforms
- Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends
